Christian Peer-to-Peer Support Groups
This latest addition to our Peer-to- Peer Support Groups provides a virtual Christian community at sea for cadets and seafarers.
We know that faith-based relationships and encouragement can help seafarers cope with stress, anxiety, and homesickness, promoting better mental health during long contracts.
But finding that sense of belonging in a faith community can be hard while you are away at sea.
It’s why we set up our dedicated Christian Peer-to-Peer Support Groups.
Members gain a safe, confidential space to find fellowship, seek comfort and gain encouragement in times of difficulty.
The groups can be ideal if you feel you are lacking spiritual support or if you want to learn more about the Christian faith in an open environment.
These spaces will also connect Christian seafarers with our trained chaplains, who can listen, advise, and help you navigate personal or moral challenges.
Our Christian Peer-to-Peer Support Groups bridge the gap between physical absence and spiritual presence, keeping faith alive in a place where being all at sea could easily erode it.

“I am often the only Christian seafarer onboard my ship. This can lead me to feel quite isolated, with nowhere to seek Christian encouragement or prayer. This group really will fill a gap for me in what can be an isolating time out at sea as a Christian sometimes”.
“I’m a serving Captain in the Merchant Navy but also have been a Christian my whole career – to have somewhere to turn for Christian support or simply to gain strength from other Christian seafarers is something I am looking forward to.”
