Join #TeamSailorsSociety and conquer the mighty Mount Kilimanjaro! Trek along the beautiful Machame route through the tropical rainforest all the way up to the snow-capped peak. Mount Kilimanjaro is Africa’s highest mountain, standing at a massive 5,895m. This amazingly rewarding challenge will provide you with a tough, once in a lifetime experience you will never forget.

Itinerary

Day 1 – Departure

Day 2 – Arrive Tanzania

Day 3 – Machame Gate to Machame Camp (3,100m)

Day 4 – Machame Camp to Shira Camp (3,750m)

Day 5 – Shira Camp to Barranco Camp (3,950m)

Day 6 - Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp (4,000m)

Day 7- Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp (4,800m)

Day 8 – Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak (5,895m). Descend to Millennium Camp

Day 9 – Millennium Camp to Mweka Gate

Day 10 – Departure

Day 11 - Arrive home

What we ask from you:

Registration fee: £299

Minimum fundraising amount if joining the group flight from the UK*: £5,400

Minimum fundraising amount when booking own flights: £4,310
