Safe, seen, supported – seafaring in a changing world

Each year, we offer regionally based conferences for cadets, ratings and trainees that focus on equipping the next generation of seafarers for their lives at sea.

In this, our fifth year of offering these acclaimed and popular virtual events, we’ll be taking participants on a journey through the eight key areas we cover in our acclaimed Wellness at Sea Awareness Campaign.

Our four region-specific conferences will look at everything from how to optimise mental and physical health onboard to managing financial concerns and relationships, as well as looking at crisis support and spirituality.

With keynote industry speakers and peer participation, these events will encourage exploration of the challenges that might be faced and provide the tools that the future of maritime needs to successfully navigate their careers.

Complementing and adding value to the curriculum, make sure you don’t miss out on enrolling your cadets, ratings and trainees on these must-have events that have already reached more than 35,000 next-generation seafarers

Cadets

Our global Wellness at Sea conferences for cadets, ratings and trainees have already reached 35,000 next-generation seafarers.

We know that cadets are tomorrow’s workforce and future industry leaders, so these unique virtual events are not just a must for any maritime student but an ideal sponsorship opportunity for you.

Strongly recommended by our previous conference sponsors, as well as by academics and politicians, these unique interactive learning experiences are also extremely popular with cadets and maritime schools, breaking attendance records every year since their inception in 2021.

With events for cadets in training in North Asia, South East Asia, Africa, the UK and Europe, each regional event offers the tools and knowledge to help manage the cadet’s wellbeing as they prepare for a career at sea.

Our experienced Wellness at Sea team also gathers together top maritime experts and industry leaders to give the cadets an insight into the realities of life at sea.

In 2025, our four Wellness at Sea Conferences looked at connectivity, how crew support each other through times of depression, anxiety and poor mental health and address bullying and harassment at sea.

Featuring both international and region-specific maritime industry experts and interactive panels, these events, attract tens of thousands of cadets, trainees and ratings.
