Keeping your crew fit for life at sea

By signing up for our Wellness at Sea resources, you are not just making a significant commitment to the health of your crews, but a valuable investment in the safety of your ships and your bottom line.

We believe wellness doesn’t just refer to a person’s physical health, but to all the different, interconnected aspects of who they are – from their relationships and emotions to their finances.

That’s why Sailors’ Society’s Wellness at Sea programme looks at the wellbeing of the whole person. We coach seafarers to think about their own wellness in five key areas of life – social, emotional, physical, intellectual and spiritual.

By helping seafarers take control of each of these areas of their lives, Wellness at Sea can empower them to make a positive impact on their mental health and wellbeing as a whole.

Our wellness programme aims to build the best environment for seafarers to thrive.

We believe the most effective way to do this is to surround them with care, supporting their wellbeing in every area of their lives. We call it the Wellness at Sea Circle of Care.
