Sailors’ Society Shortlisted for Crew Welfare Award – Vote Now
We are delighted that Sailors’ Society’s industry-leading Sea Mate programme has been shortlisted for the SAFETY4SEA Crew Welfare Non-Profit Organisation Award.
This is to be awarded to any organisation or association (non-profit) that planned, promoted and delivered any programme fostering crew welfare with tangible results.
And we certainly have those.
Since the programme launched last year, we have already trained almost 400 Wellness Officers who are now onboard vessels providing crew with someone to talk to who is trained and supported by our experienced crisis response team.
Sea Mate takes seafarer wellbeing firmly into the C21st century, ensuring crews have the targeted wellness support they need whenever and wherever they are.
