Are you missing something?

Look around you. Your phone, your computer, your cup of coffee: 90 per cent of everything we use comes by sea, brought to us by seafarers.

Without them, we would miss most of the things we rely on every day. But to bring those things to us, they miss many of the things we take for granted as they leave their homes and loved ones for months on end to go to sea.

Our “Are you missing something” campaign aims to raise public awareness of seafarers, how important they are to our daily lives and the sacrifices they and their families make for their work.

If the containers of Maersk alone were lined up, they would stretch 11,000 miles, or nearly halfway around the planet*
